In stock investing, often one mistake is immediately followed by a series of mistakes, just like in dancing, chess or any other mind-body activities. Leaving the scene would be a mistake now, after a 50% correction. Leaving now will result in seeing one's girlfriend in the bar with whatshisface. Hedging, yes, leaving, no.

The brave can hedge by selling naked calls on Yahoo, ETrade, and a basket of B2C stuff like Amazon etc. Braver still folks can hedge by selling covered calls on CMGI. Feebler minded folks like I can hedge by selling puts on Newmont Mining.
