"Heard today on CNBC the rumor is that Veritas is considering
buying Segate. They said that was why SEG has ran up so much
the last couple of days. If you think about it, that would really make
sense for VRTS to buy SEG to get their own stock back at a
considerable discount and then spin Segate off again. Don't have
any idea if the rumor has any factual basis but if that were to
happen SEG would not be bought for less than 75-80 (that price
range is my opinion only). Anyone have any thoughts or more
information on the buyback possibility?. Thanks."

Anyone else hear this?
