It seems as if the company doesn't much mind the drop.
A good press release could certainly stop the bleeding.
Interesting the ways different managements react.
With the conference this week, there is little excuse for the lack of press.

Does the recent price drop make some people thow up? I need to know. Where is the puke meter guy, "LBStocks"? It is a sign of fear.

My approach is simple.
Has anything changed fundamentally? NO

Does the Agilent photonic switch negatively affect JDSU? NO.
----it is actually good news.

Is a 40 point retracement after a 100 point move up very unusual? NO. It seems to be normal and a good place to form a base.

Are the ones who sold at 290 to 300 aching to get back in?
YES!

My conclusion--no problem with this stock

---------------------------------------

What does the past performance in these 3 months of JDSU movement tell you about the future?
To me it says that the consolodation phase will be shorter than the last time and the move up will happen sooner as investors won't want to miss out on the next big move up.

I heard on CNBC that drugs are weakening today. Another good sign for tech as these types of sectors were probably temporary places to park money (and their prices went) until one is confident of a move up. The downward moves in Drugs plus the inevitable drops is some others like Paper, will be the next signal for major moves up in aggressive growth stocks.
