Broker participation is voluntary so it is rare that all trading volume is accounted for. The trades can be related to either institutional or retail trading. Institutional: A trade reported by a major brokerage firm who typically trades on behalf of major mutual funds/portfolio managers. While these firms also have retail branches, the amount of trades reported on behalf of institutional investors dwarfs the limited amount of retail trades that get reported. Retail: A trade reported by a broker that primarily executes on behalf of retail investors such as Trimark Knight or Charles Schwab's Mayer Schweitzer.

Found this on PLUVIA: Pluvia= Steven Alan Keyser= convicted shoplifter!! Looks like he has gone from shoplifting to stock manipulation! Like my daddy always says ?Once a thief always a thief?! Pluvia?s scam is a simple one. He finds stocks which have run and are in a period of consolidation and then he buys short out of the money puts or writes in the money calls and then posts outlandish claims in order to knock the stock down then he quickly covers.
