singtel is a company i have unfortunately been long since 1990 and i am still losing money. the company in truth is poorly run, has no vision and is late to the internet broadband scene. these folks have been out in the US, europe and asia long before Lycos or even PCCLF, and have literally blown the government's money away at bad bets and poor management of foreign interests. for in truth singtel is 88% owned by the government and is run by son of strongman lee kuan yew, the company has no REAL shareholder transparency and makes no attempt to increase return on equity or capital since they can rely on the munificence of the government's coffers.
