Zeev: An excellent call on your part on the RMBS ascent and delighted to see that you are exiting and booking a profit. Aside from a few early puts, I have been a spectator to this geyser, waiting for some signs of cannon fodder exhaustion. Almost entered when it got up to the $200 range, but glad I waited. Like you, I think it is nearing the apogee. I'll be there for the return from space. (g) MU really has me intrigued, particularly given the coming debt conversion. Logic would suggest that now would be a decent time to load up, but since this stock so frequently defies logic, who knows. I'll likely participate through D-O-O-T-M puts but will probably play small. Here again, the distance to the bottom of the hill is great and I have learned to take only a part of the ride. I agree that the SOX is insane, particularly given the high inventory levels and the sagging PC situation. AMAT has been a wonder to me. I thought it was over valued when it doubled from $20 to $40. (g) I'll be there for this one too, but not yet. Spent a good part of the day with a "local cloner." His commentary (and you will have to take my word for it that I did not guide his views in any way) was interesting with respect to Rambus. He flatly stated that it is too expensive to even consider and that he could not see any benefits to using it. It also came out in our conversation that he had not seen any of the tests. His comments maintain a close to 100% "not interested" attitude in the field. I wonder where the supposed "demand" is coming from? One thing for sure,.... it will be interesting to note how much and from what sources the company's revenues rise in this quarter. (g) Best, Earlie
