All excellent points, Joe. . .Thanks. . .

You are right. We tend to get that indestructible feeling like we did when we were 19. And yes, when things turn around, it can get ugly. . . and with the current volume overload the brokerages are already under. . . I doubt they could sustain a panic.

The free share philosophy was originally posted here about a year ago, entitled "BTS, Bard's Trading System". . . from a webpage by Ga Bard, where he outlines the money management method of collecting free shares. It is certainly a fine system for long term holding. . . I like to add that if you are planning on holding those shares long. . .why not just call in the certificates. . that way you won't be tempted to trade them.

This is the time of the year when we face our greed. Do we take our money and go home happy. . . or push on to the next question. . .during a time when it becomes increasingly more difficult to sustain gains. Well? Which is it?

Is that your final answer?

I appreciate your thoughts, Joe, and yes I do forgot about keeping things in perspective. Today there has been a great battle going on within me... to sell or not to sell...

I realized reading your message that if it is this difficult for me to figure out what to do, I need a break! I lightened up some positions. Thanks.
