With 15 minutes to go don't be surprised

if the day-traders and momentum guys start their daily end of the day dump with a net result of little overall gain for the day. Just watch - I bet we end up 28 1/8 +1/8.

Thread: If there is anyone who does not think the CEO of a company makes a BIG difference in the way its shareholders and the street value a stock, take a look at FTU (First Union) today. This mega-dog bank stock has performed even worse than CPQ over the past year thanks to its CEO, Crutchfield, who (unfortunately) became FTU's CEO after FTU took out Corestates.

Crutchfield steps down and BAM! FTU jumps over 2 points to over 30. A miracle only possible with Crutchfield's resignation (stated as being for health reason).
