Thanks for the nice comments about the BCT ..... I'm using the Zfolio to practice on .... don't mean to imply that the BigChief is an allpowerful tool but if I continue to progress in the usage of it, who knows, by the year 2020 I could be proficient ..... BZG Actually, the methodology you mention is basically correct, but the projection is more eyeball intuition than mech and comes from thirty years worth of hand drawn chart making. I've run GUMM daily as an example of how I use it in learning ... I don't use it to buy equities but I sure as the dickens use it with the mini ..... ggggg ok, here is GUMM since the first of the year (it is too time consuming for me to do this for a whole bunch ... hehehehe) now remember I usually wait til 10am to start trading the mini .... 1-03-00 === long at 16 1/4 2-02-00 === SARed to short at 30 1/4 for 14 pts 2-14-00 === SARed to long at 24 3/4 for 5 1/2 pts 2-15-00 === SARed to short at 23 3/4 for MINUS 1 pt 2-23-00 === SARed to long at 23 1/2 for 1/4 pt 2-25-00 === SARed to short 23 3/8 for MINUS 1/8 pt 3-09-00 === SARed to long 20 1/8 for 3 1/4 pts 3-12-00 === long with protective stoploss at 19 1/8 since 1-03-00 7 trades 5 winners for 23 points profit 2 losers for MINUS 1 1/8 points loss total profit (without commish) of 21 7/8 points realized profit 1 3/4 unrealized profit for current holding position Dang ---- this is too much like work ..... whew ..... no wonder I quit trading equities ....... and those overnighter holds still unnerve me ...... hope I didn't bore the thread and I don't want this to seem as if I'm bragging with the results on GUMM but I'm learning from the Z just as much as I did when you kind and gracious folks welcomed me 3 years ago and I was a total buyem and holdem and I was filled with AWE at the dexterity with which the flips went on ...... and then I turned into a scalper and became a maniac on flipping the mini and now I'm learning a new method of semipositional holds ..... time for me to quit for tonight with a repeat of the thanks for the years of help from the Z for me Nemer
