It may be that shore gold has hit something big. I would think that DeBeers would go for them as amatuers compared to Randy.

If they do have over 100 meters of depth across 200 meters and open in all directions near Prince Albert spread out to about 20 meters over 1.5 by 2 km it might be something DB would like to look at.

I think Randy will try to do the mining by himself and have the market rights to the biggest independent diamond source in the world. Marketing is changing and DeBeers knows it. They have played considerable dirty pool in third world countries but this is a bit different. In the past they had the experts but that has all changed so what do they have left? Contracts and marketing?

Time will tell but I don't like their chances of getting a piece of Winspear cheap. I think they will go elsewhere or keep drilling.
