RB:

SILI's last proxy statement (authorizing the increase to 100 million shares and approving the split) explains that one of the probable benefits they hoped to obtain with the split (and the increased float) was additional institutional interest and analyst coverage. There have been several emails to SILI IR and the response has been, generally, "we hope so."

My best guess is that the MUCH larger volume the past three days is someone (or several someones) taking positions in advance of coverage. Obviously, no one knows for sure when, or if, analyst coverage will materialize, but I will be VERY surprised if we don't have at least one analyst in the next 30-60 days, if not sooner.

DLJ did SILI's IPO in 1979 and has VERY active coverage of VSH today. (VSH and SILI were unrelated until a couple years ago). ML also have very active coverage of VSH and mentions SILI's products and businesses without mentioning SILI in its reports. I think either are possibilities for coverage.

This has got to be the only $4 billion market cap company in existence with no analyst coverage. Once it comes, this puppy will really fly. It has made it onto some folks radar scopes: we are just waiting for it to get into the cross-hairs.

When it hits $150 next week, I will have a 10 bagger on my initial shares. It is well within reasonable probability that SILI could run to $250 to $300, split 3 for 1 again and run back to $200-$300 in the next 12 or so months. If it continues to grow earnings at 100%+ a year, it could easily get there this year as its PE expands to match the reality.

The three catalysts: earnings, coverage, and another split will come together (and hopefully not at the same time) to drive this stock price to fair value of $700+ in the next 12 months, IMO.

I have and will continue to enjoy the ride.
