Oh the crowing we'd be witnessing if amd had won out, funny, where have all the amdroids gone? This thread was so thick with them it was sickening. We might have a respite for a while, considering how today's scoreboard came out with AMD so weak...

A company like Intel, because they have been the greatest, undergoes a greater degree of scrutiny. Do not take this as seeing the glass as half full. No on can make mass quantities of chips as cheap as Intel. I never thought that the Athlon was a fit into a game box. Intel was the logical choice, being that they have relatively low cost core with a decent FPU... Besides, I don't know why everyone is so whipped up over a box due in 16 months... On the other hand, I told you to load up on LU in the low 50's but you saw the glass as totally empty. You had thrown in the towel...shame <G> Jim
