OT:TeraBeam- intersting, On the Raging Bull thread for XLA they mentioned George Gilder's newletter for this month. Apparently he highlighted TeraBeam and its technology. FWIW

agreed, terrabeam is a possible category killer not only on dsl, but other sectors as well(ie-metro landline fiber, cable modem, etc..)...wireless fiber optic's has huge potential and the chief of at&t wireless just left before their upcoming ipo to head this company, so he must be very high on their technology...im very glad to hear softbank has a stake in this company...finally, softbank is getting away from B2C and putting emphasis on B2B and infrastructure.

Hi Robert, I will take Terabeam story (optical wireless sounds to sexy in this age) from now on in substitute for my Cisco microwave wireless story. I was trying to figure out an out for 9984 should Tepco deal actually fall through.
