Eric, Congrats that you have the patience to read the RB thread. I never did.

<We are reiterating our strong buy rating and $125 price target based on a discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.>

I figured the $125 price target would have been shuffled aside. There was another firm who had something similar in Oct 99.

<ATHM shares are likely to see continued pressure until the Portland ruling is released. We expect this over the next 60 or so days at which time we expect significant short position covering.>

So if ATHM floats at $30 for 60 days, then this analyst is expecting a 4 bagger in six months. Who is this Analyst? Susan Lynner?

<ATHM pricing is exceptionally compelling and represents a table pounding buying opportunity.>

First time I have seen table pounding by an analyst. Now it makes the analysis have a salty flavor of a pump and dump. I'm sure Prudential is getting calls from angry investors on the price performance similar to ML on INTC when it dropped in October.

New money chasing biotech and semiconductors. DSL stocks like COVD seem to be up although not profitable like ATHM.
Strange days indeed.
Jack

I talked to the 2 guys running the exhibit. Both of them worked for @Home and both of them own a lot of stock @Home.

Mr. E that rhymes with T and thats just fine with me Davis-

Greetings and salutations over the quantum foam!

You have stated that you are interested in how ATHM is executing and stories of how subs are beig handled and such. Thought this would be of interest.

I went to the Hartford (Connecticut) Home show today to view the latest technologies around the home. There were the normal roofing exhibits, flooring exhibits, replacement windows, water heaters, you name it, everything you can think of for making your life at home more comfortable.

Toward the end of the almost endless aisles of exhibits, I saw something I have never seen at a 'Home Show'. It was by far the best exhibit I've ever seen at a 'Home Show. It was the @Home exhibit.

There were 3 PC's plugged into @Home cable and visitors were allowed to sit down and experience the sheer joy of surfing the internet at speeds of up to a hundred times faster than a 28.8 phone modem.

I talked to the 2 guys running the exhibit. Both of them worked for @Home and both of them own a lot of stock @Home.

I asked them if the stock was going to go up any time soon and they told me that a lot of 'big' things are going to be happening soon to make the stock go way up. They told me that @Home was possibly going to merge with Charter Communications and that a lot of big announcements would be coming soon.

That is by far the best exhibit I have ever seen at any 'Home Show' in my life.

What does @Home mean to me? Speed, speed, and more speed. Yeah, Baby!!!
