Limtex and Thread, XEROX to enter consumer inkjet market.

I think this is a clear signal that the impact of digital photography has created an emerging market for high quality consumer inkjet printers. IMHO, it can only be good for the consumer...

The drop over the last two days would seem less disturbing if the stock had been selling at 16 and dropped to 12-1/2. When you add two zeros, your outlook can change. But the real reason simply may be that the price-earnings ratio for the most optimistic estimate for earnings in the current fiscal year is still probably a bit high relative to the growth rate for earnings. Also, on a macro level, the dramatic increases in prices for gasoline and fuel oil are bound to reduce consumer disposable income for items such as digital cameras and MP3 players. I believe near term earnings are limited by manufacturing capacity, which will not increase appreciably until the Virginia plant, operated as a joint venture with Toshiba, starts operating, probably next year.

Taking trading profits, as some investors must have done, is less likely to be successful for most investors than holding for the long term. After all, SNDK is not your typical Internet stock. SNDK not only has high quality management but they're also making money. Taking short term profits would be encouraged by the government, I suppose, because of all the tax revenue it generates. I prefer to build wealth rather than pay taxes on realized gains.
