Rob,
You are quite right about listing requirements and the obvious in that Ontex holds some serious quality properties. I think BigBuk made mention of the next Corona.
Oh that would be sweet. Quite possibly the goods are there. The potential exists for huge reserves in a number of different locations within the fault.
The listing moves Ontex to the low end of the second tier gold stocks. If you put them in tiers you would have the senior producers of Barrick, Placer and the like. The second tier stocks are those with the goods yet small in comparison to the majors. A few great projects on the go but no where near the size and scope of the majors. The third tier stocks are very early in there exploration. They have properties that they are evaluating with drilling and further exploration. There problems lie in financing generally and like you mentioned they exited the scene as money is easier to come by in the tech sector at present.
What you normally see in the gold sector is a junior with the goods and a senior producer takes them out. Not to many companies take the path of a TVX and go from third tier to working there way up the tiers. Ontex will choose that path and with time and results, the possibilty exists for huge returns on this company. Be patient.
Mark

Hey Rob I found a site with a little map and some geologic talk on the Brookbank and paint lake fault.
gov.on.ca
Notice their commentary about major gold exploration by Ontex.
