It is my understanding that high volume sell offs are not good, it means there is a lot of unloading going on. Wait for the volume to dry up and a basing pattern to develop.

Another reversal stick is a hammer, which is a stick where heavy volume accompanies a close well above the low of the day. Unfortunately we closed at the low of the day in high volume which is not a good sign.

From here, we could easily get a dead cat bounce up to 16-17 only to sell off again, we are way over sold though IMO, but it is hard to catch a falling knife.

TA is just a tool for entry and exit, and not a science but I do believe it has its place.

Good Luck!
