I guess I like Nuveen for single state funds. Go to nuveen.com to check them out for your state. But there are others as well worth researching depending upon the state you live in. Needless to say, there are risks in closed end funds not associated with an open end fund. But even with a Vanguard Long Term Municipal for my state, the tax equivalent yield for me would be 9.31%.
