SMP = symmetric multiprocessing, the fancy way of saying more than one cpu.

It's the old .25micron PIII's that it supports. The specs show only up to 550, but I'm sure they've updated the bios for the 600 or ars wouldn't have recommended it. You can see it's not the Coppermines because the voltage selections only go down to 2.0v.

Also, no support for AGP4X or ATA66.

Definitely an old-generation board, but I guess ars likes that for hassle-free computing with plenty of performance. The reviews of the VIA 133 chipset are pretty poor too. High expectations for Intel's 133 chipset, Solano (I think), when it comes out.
