Justa,

Yes, that is a risk but it really does not matter to me personally. I like the idea of capital preservation now. I bagged my 20% YTD already. I don't like the playing field now. Moreover, there will always be opportunities in my lifetime to step up to the plate again.

You got it. The opportunity to step up to the plate may occur in the next 9 to 12 months when everyone starts liking the logic of your muni post.

For fun, I have been looking at the NAZ chart from November to present. A 35% correction would be nothing at this point. The risk is huge right now. People are in a state of numbed euphoria.

I can't understand it. I spend my time these days sharing war stories (remembering the ol' days) on the phone with my neighbor Keyodo. We also trade interesting banter regarding whose money market rate is larger. The days of being a 2 Beta Brinkerhead (Fall 1998) seem so far away. Ha!

I am fine tuning my buy list these days. There are some good companies that might hit my price targets should we get a good pullback.

You are right. There will be a time to step up to the plate. Ironically, or maybe not, that time will be when everyone views the move as wrong. Sort of like MM and Munis seem to most now.

Mr. Market has been at Mardi Gras. Eventually he will wake up from his stupor. Besides, I hear they are getting strict down there.
