Re: TeraBeam's Threat to Destroy<g> the Last Mile Players

Ray and Thread- Judging from the posts on the GG thread, I have a feeling that's where most of the TeraBeam hype is going. Maybe they will move into the TeraBeam thread on Monday as you say.

Did anyone catch Bernard's post about Lucent having worked on similar technology? I guess it shouldn't surprise me it went ignored on the TeraBeam thread. But here is his Lucent url in case other Last Mile investors are interested:
lucent-optical.com

Finally, why do I get this feeling that GG seems very similar to the Dan Dorfman scandal that hit CNBC years ago? I'm pretty amazed at what his comments can do. Frenzy like action and there seems to be no disclosure on GG part. Not that I'm blaming him, or saying he needs to disclose. I'm just saying it's just amazing how much what he say's matters to so many when they don't even know his positions. -MikeM(From Florida)

LOL, thank you Raymond. I even understood your post! However you left out one link which you should have provided. So as gesture for those, who like me, refer often to dictionaries....
babelfish.altavista.digital.com

I will use your resources wisely, altho imho, by the time I were to gain the knowledge shared on this board, the last mile solution will be long be found, you all will be retired, and the world will have moved on to the next revolution.

I do have a very simple question that I have been wanting to ask....but was rather reluctant to do so. I read several posts where a couple of you spoke about fog and rain interference with Terabeam's technology. As Terabeam was developed and tested in Seattle and because of Seattle's weather profile, it seems logical to me that Terabeam has found a resolve to that problem. Would you not agree?

As to the Terabeam boards not being active, I would refer you to the Transmeta board (not a Gilder pick :) that is also not active. Perhaps it is because these companies are private. I suspect you will interest pick up as the companies are nearer IPO.

Regards and TIA
