A bit off topic ... The news is out about the memory problems in some Dell systems shipped since March 1999. Dell is taking the high road and sending new memory to the afflicted customers. Remember Intel's math problem a couple of years ago? The arrogant bastards said they'd only replace the chips for 'worthy customers', and not for ordinary people until the pressure built up and they were forced to retreat from this PR disaster. Anyway, people can download the test. support.dell.com If your system fails the test, there's a place to click for a remedy. Looking after customers properly is one reason I purchased Dell: both computer(s) and stock. Cheers, PW.
