Signed up for IQCharts today ...

and I must say my initial impression is very favorable.

I've been using Medved QuoteTracker, a great tool in itself, but the Datek feeds have been just wretched lately and I needed a backup.

Love the charts, and the indicators suit me just fine ... I don't need anything super complex. I trade using moving average crossovers, that plus support/resistance points. IQChart seems perfect.

Also love the "Related" stocks feature.

Haven't got my real-time feed yet. How long does that take?

Hi Judy,

IQChart is working fine for me now. Customer support was good. Looks like they had a problem with their scripts. Several people had this problem I suppose. It took 5 days from the day I signed up to resolve. I requested them to increase the trial period, which they agreed. Have not started using extensively, but hope to do so in the coming days.

The issue which you pointed out, ie letting you in even if you typed in the wrong username and password, has been rectified. Now it warns you but still lets you in if you say continue. Glad to see improvements. In one of the emails to customer service, I had suggested that it will be good if they can do this. Don't know if they took that suggestion or had such plans even before. But one thing which I pointed out has been corrected. When it gives an error message, it had a wrong spelling for access in the window title. It has been corrected in this new version. Even though it is a small issue, glad to see the support is responsive.

John Busby, who posts in the other IQChart thread, was very helpful.

Thanks for your reply

David Cecil
