Petz - Re: "3. Since the specifications for the XBox CPU state that it must have a 128K L1 cache, Intel will have more development expense than AMD to produce the chip"

Where is the X-BOX spec and the section that specifies a 128K L1 cache?

Paul

Petz - Re: "Take 2,3 together and Intel will be selling these CPU's to a new customer in a new market for less than the cost of production. They will be using their monopoly position in business computers to subsidize entry into a new market.
This is the definition of illegal monopolistic action"

Good.

I hope BOTH you AND AMD sue Intel.

Remember, if you lose, Intel has a RIGHT and a DUTY to its SHAREHOLDERS to countersue you when you lose, to recover DAMAGES and EXPENSES associated with the frivolous suit.

I am totally shocked and abhorred that you AMDroids are taking this LOSS to Intel like a bunch of babbling, whining, snotty-nosed 8 year olds.

I hope Jerry and his cohorts sit in their dark, rented offices and obsess over this loss - just like you 'droids - while Intel gets ready to clean AMD's clock in the high end with a massive build up of 1 GHz Coppermines and, in Q3/Q4, WILLAMETTEs !

Fasten your seat belt, PETZ - the roller coaster ride is just beginning.
