Hi Arine and gang.

WGAT: I'll get back with some TA today. I know you
really like that stock and have taken profits at the right times. Between that and COMS (and options) you should be ready to buy all of us new Lincolns (LS)

This has been a great three weeks and our (concerted) efforts here have paid off nicely. Personally, I've made more money recently than ever in my short trading time.

Now, that being said I wish to offer an opinion on the NASD. I've noticed for the last three days that CNBC has been dragging one pundit after another across the screen talking about the parabolic moves of the entire NASD over the last three weeks. The DOW has suffered greatly from this move as we know. We all know what to do with parabolic moves in an individual stock thus I am looking for the big blow off soon since we have broken 5000 NASD. Remember the dow at 11,000?

I plan on moving some money over to some of the low down beaten up large companies this next week and feel that the large fund managers have already started to do the same. DD's IP, WMT, XRX (of course)CAT etc. are at or near 52 week lows. These being way oversold are due for some major moves when the failure comes to the NASD. Least that is my game plan. Opinions??

Ken

Arnie, WGAT:

siliconinvestor.com

Gave off a short term buy signal on MACD just like you said at 30 31, however, the chart above indicates that it was a trading signal only. There is just too much distance between the MA's for it to be a positive rally above about 35 as you can see by the selling volume and a down close below the MA. Also note that the MACD is still well below the signal line on the daily chart. I would be suspect of the rally Arnie, just like the ones prior when all it did was make a new rounded top and fall to a lower trading range. There are some great trades in here and should be played that way 2 to 3 point swings are a delight even in a down trend.
