Francis, I pretty much feel as you do about the 75 mil, contingent upon upcoming developments, ie.; if he sticks around to implement his outline and never gives up no matter how tough the going gets. From all that I have read, the guy hardly sleeps, and he believes he cannot fail. Also, the moves the company has made to date because of him have been great. Good visionary ceos are hard to come by. I guess the payers felt he was appropriately paid. We shall see in time if it was worth it.

I speculate that the reason Telebank has not been fully incorporated is that ETrade is probably getting ready to launch the new site they have talked about in the past. I hope they do a bang up job and blow us all away...

i think for regulatory reasons, ETrade was forced by the OTS to wait for 3 months before beginning to crossmarket it's banking part.
it should begin in april.
i read it somewhere when the merger was approved
