FFIV COMPETITORS: I am long FFIV and very optimistic. I too have read the back posts and appreciate the contributions you have all made to the thread. I see that FFIV on their website attack the Alteon test of their equipment versus FFIV. So obviously they consider them to be a competitor! I would be grateful if someone could summarize their opinions about: -- who are the main competitors? -- how does FFIV stack up against them? -- as an investor, is it worthwhile being positioned in more than FFIV in this segment? -- the key strategic customers of FFIV versus those of their competitors? -- are FFIV skilled marketers of their offerings? I would also appreciate comments from the "market perforance experts" out there about: -- the key reasons for the sell off after last earnings? -- to what extent do you expect this to occur again next time? -- what evidence is there relative to the next quarter that suggests that FFIV will make new highs?
