I am setting here in my Penthouse, drinking my first cup of coffee, and writing this while I look out over my deck and watch the sunrise reflect off the cluster of Skyscrapers in downtown LA. I will spend the day contracting for the dance floor I am putting in on the deck,...and build about a 400 square foot floor. I just bought the sound system, and am setting it up with 4 speakers in a "surround" to give the best sound at the lowest volume, to keep the neighbors happy. Damn it, they better not complain about me playing Frank all the time! The Jacuzzi install is giving me problems. Yeah, Bill, thanx for putting it all in perspective. <G> Let's see.........hmmmm.....I'm looking at my computer screen, trying to figure out how to help one of my helpless residents reconfigure a dreadful first draft of a paper we're writing on Multiple Organ Failure after Liver Transplantation. After that, we'll go see 14 critically ill patients. But after reading about your trials, I just can't figure out how you get thru the day. <G> Hey, just teasing. Thanx for all of your hard work pulling the thread together down in SD. I am glad for your success and jealous of the Mo-Mo fun you're having this year. Stan

I am going for a 1940's Nightclub "Jungle" look on the deck, with Bamboo, etc, down both sides. After viewing your subtle style of dress, I'm surprised that you wouldn't go for a more understated motif for the deck!:-) Also, while I value Frank's many contributions to the list, I did not know that he also recorded music! Lindy sounds like your setting up a great place for parties. (How far is LA from San Diego)(and do you stock any Opus) <GG>. RE crane, if you go to the police dept. and offer to pay some cops OT on a sunday morning when the city is quiet you will find you'll get a great deal more cooperation form the city and the police dept. I do it all the time and have rigged things you wouldn't believe, even over one building to get onto another building. Also if you use one of the big time crane guys they usualy have the right connections even though it will cost you more it'll be worth it. 100

Hello LB, Unq, and the rest of the Thread, I am sitting here trying to catch up again. Spent four of the last seven days in Chattanooga with the folks. I am glad that the reunion was an obvious roaring success. I am enjoying reading all the stories from San Diego and more than just a bit envious. Lurqer sent me a note directing me to the picture post and I skipped ahead to view the pictures. Looking forward to getting the video. Hopping to become more active here shortly. I have been contemplating a career move that will take me to Chattanooga and have interviewed with an Ophthalmology group there. Again I apologize to the thread for only sporadic posts. If I only had a clone then I would be fine, although I am not certain the world is ready for two of me. Again congratulations on the success of the reunion. It is a testament to the highest caliber people that are on the G&K. My Very Best To All, Joel
