I'm holding. With a market cap of $5B MRV still has lots of room to grow.

Bernie Ebbers's recent comments about WCOM seeing $100B of network capex through 2002 just blew me away. And every week now it seems a new player is announcing plans to build a major continental or global fiber network. Optical networking and components will be a powerhouse for many years to come and MRV's portfolio is covering large parts of the food chain.

I too have taken profits, but MRVC is my major holding.

I have learned to sell some, and keep some. I do not have the brass balls required to let MRVC be 40% of my entire portfolio!

If I did, perhaps I could retire like Sector Investor, to the land of milk and honey. However, my stomach would be ruined, and all I would be able to drink would be Pepto. Iccch.

I will take obscene profit and a little sleep over legendary prowess and loss of my nerves.
