To All -- Saturdays Barrons has a great article about VRTS and SEG's holdings. It states that the 128 million shares of VRTs that SEG owns are worth $100 per share to SEG (net $65). Then they ad $15 per share for cash and investments in SNDSK and other companies. PLUS, it values the drive operations of SEG at $20-30 per share.

Specualtion was that Standard & Poors are going to ad VRTs to the S&P 500 and move it out of the Midcap 400. Thus SEG would have a chance to sell a lot of VRTS shares to index funds without causing market turmoil.

Does this mean we are headed for $145 with SEG????????

Boy that would be nice, but not holding my breath....
