It will be interesting, Uncle... I think the whole 2,5G and 3G technology stage will be entirely different from the second geenration stage. It's already clear that the entire infastructure market will become much more ope to competition. Japan is opening up - in USA, the TDMA market may not be a haven for Lucent and Ericsson anymore. It just might be possible that even Korea will order 3G infra from Western manufacturers.

Shares of companies like Alcatel, Siemens and Nortel have been bid up on the expectations that these companies can deliver better results during this stage than they did during second generation build-up. There's going to be a lot of tumult this year, as the market share situation clears up.
