Cordob, I agree with your assessment with one exception. Owing to the parameters that circumscribe consumers I feel it will be impossible for phone companies to emulate wireless PDA's even though I know that it is a fait accompli that they will eclipse them in numbers. How often do you think a person is going to want to read a Wall Street Journal or for that matter a couple of pages of anything on a cell phone. Cell phones are great but in their current form they will do little to make the Wireless PDA obsolete. If you increase the size of cell phones then you have basically some of the same problems associated with Satellite phones. We all know what happened to Iridium.
