From my very first missive I have happily apprised all on my position regarding 3Com. My portfolio since March of 99 has been 100% 3Com and if you are willing to do a little dd you will see that I have yet to straddle the fence. I am an investor and I do not invest in hype but true unadulterated fundamentals. Ever since I became a share holder in 3Com I have seen nothing but improving operations which are manifested on their financial statement, failing operations cancelled and their JV with Seimens dropped. The company's decisions to spin-off the Palm in a timely manner and their investments in Juniper, Aether, Extreme et al have also manifested a solid financial team at the helm of the company. It should also be emphasized that the company's cash position has been improving phenomenally and continues to show improvement. With regard to your question of whether I work for 3Com, well, I have never worked for 3Com, nor do I ever intend to work for any other company that I do not own 100%. If I had the wherewithal of the famous Asset Stripper, Sir James Goldsmith, I would make a hostile bid to purchase 3Com and sell the individual parts for a profit. I don't think you will find many technology companies with as much latent wealth and potential as 3Com. I continue to be 100% in 3Com until I become privy to any adverse events concerning the company. Up until now all I have heard is FUD and hyperbole that is in direct contradiction to the facts. The facts are that Smart Money (institutions) have been increasing their position in 3Com for the last 6 weeks. On Friday they notched above the 55% mark. Now that is a far cry from the rumor that Smart money is on the run. Remember, Knowledge is Power only in the right hands!!! Patience is more rewarding than ingeniousness!!!!! Prescience gives you the uncanny ability to carve your destiny. No Guts no Glory. Last but not least, Faith in God gives you the ability to prevail in the face of adversity.
