Yea, we can bat this back and forth forever. I just don't think it is in the cards, although his comments are unlikely to cause more euphoria, at least I hope not. -g-

That big rambo holder that I've been talking about off and on, dumped a bit over 10% of his holdings. At least some of the bulls ain't so dumb and are taking enough chips off the table to cover the original bet. He really must have been into clean living and have some sort of direct line to God to smoke a huge focused homerun like that. -g-

he wrote a very bearish piece for Fortune on the future returns of the S & P. He is INCLUDING this article with this year's annual report. That's an unprecedented statement from a guy who usually is silent on the market.

the au mkt is. James Dines, the original aubug was on a vancouver finacial talk show this morning for approximately 40 minitues. During that time the host asked him numerous questions about the SM & his internut recos, but not one about au. At least 6 or 8 people called in questions, again, not one about gold. The host did ask dines about palladium & he said that he expects the russians to restrict supply & keep the price high. He's still very positive on swc. I found it strange that they never even mentioned platinum, which will be substituted in catalytic converters. The host asked him about FN because of their swc royalty & dines said that it would be very lucrative for them. He had no idea why FN's share price was so low.

Still shaking my head. It's like I'm in the twilight zone. The original aubug talks about investments for 40 mins & never mentions or is asked about au.

I'm not sure how to interpret this complete lack of interest in au. I suppose an optimist could find a "silver" lining.
