What confounds me that people forget how mistakes in their lives have made them better human beings, businessmen and role models. 3Com's BODs under the helm of EB did quite well for around 7 yrs. until the USX debacle; since then they have been judged critically. I am not insinuating that we should be patting EB and company on the back for their past mistakes, what I am alluding to is that let us be a little more open minded and judge based on their present performance and assume the past was just an aberration that will not be repeated. It is unfortunate that all the good new surrounding the company is being muted by hyperbole and FUD.
