Bill,

re: AMD second chance

It ain't gonna happen.

Lets all get over it.

AMD lost this one.

It was a big deal for AMD.

But AMD is still looking great as long as they can kick VIA's butt to get the kx133 out.

MSFT is providing a software development platform using the PIII and SIMD plus NVIDIA for game developers to optimize for. Thats why MSFT just can't make a last minute change on CPU vendor.

Best regards,

Kash

Bill:

Intel seems to be able to produce up to 733MHz without the horrendous and repeated glitches thay are experienceing at 800 MHz and up...AMD owns 800 MHz and up...Big question to me is what happens when Ybox by someone other than MSFT gets built around 1000 MHZ Athy...Xbox could easily go the way of the do-do bird before it flies...Oh well, Intel could then just sell some more investments to cover off any substantial loss...
