victor, the us economy is expanding at historical rates. just like the 70s and 80s. the new economy is a statistical mirage adopted in 1996. fully 50% of gdp growth is in "chained" dollars. what is a "chained" dollar? one that doesn't exist and has to be made up.

the second half of the new economy is a credit induced bubble stock market.

have you heard of "chained" dollars before?

>Imagne any of this happening in France or England. not likely.
Victor, I resent this. What you appear not know is that England is on the leading edge of Internet technology.
Did you know the most highly regarded university in the world for technology excellence is Cambridge, not MIT.
Example. Autonomy (aunmf).

While you might think of British telephone, there are British start up's who's potential is amazing.
Nnds comes to mind.
