I think you misunderstood what I was talking about. I mean that many big good Bio tehcs are getting hit hard while the small, single product in the pipe line companies that are trading like they own ALL the cures for cancer, the cold, AIDS etc are still flying high. I will admit I am stubborn but I just don't believe that some two bit biotech company has more potential than teh big boys with millions of products in teh pipe line and plenty of funding behind thier research. Besides, Bio tech is a lot like Software. If one of these little guys does find something worth while, the big guns will pounce and buy it out before it ever makes a dime in the open market place. I hope you also realize the time delay in getting a product from where they are confident they have something marketable and actual release to the market is years and years during FDA trials and that more products fail these trials than ever make it.

Heck I will believe the new era internet hype before I will sign on to even half of these companies even being worth half these prices a few years from now.

What I meant by the games or insider knowledge was since many of these big biotechs like BGEN and DNA are down the last week, is that expiration may be playing into the mix or else there are earnings problems looming large or a trial is about to get cancelled again like last quarter with BGEN.

Good Luck,

Lee

Casaubon,

Do any of your bio's have names? I agree with you about the future for the bio's, my two holdings right now are LYNX and GERN!
