Assuming Earthlink has a POP3 mail server (and it must), you should be able to access e-mail from any computer with an e-mail client. You'd have to configure the e-mail client with the server address, login name and password.

I access my e-mail at the office from home this way and it workds great. Alternately, you should be able to set up a web-based email service (Hotmail, Visto) to poll your POP3 email account.
