Elmer, If the box is a failure as a game bos, MSFT will bear some of the costs, however it will most likely assume the shape of a joint venture to develop the mobo for the box and if it flops, well Intel will eat whatever costs they cannot shove onto MSFT. Bear in mind if Intel just acts as a slave fabricator and MSFT takes all risks, then MSFt takes all profits and Intel will make a leaner quote with zero risk. With risk comes more share of profits if it works well and the concommitant downside risk if it flops.
