"I still don't understand why using CompactFlash or MMC off the shelf is not a more common practice." Ausdauer, I have been asking myself that same question for years! People in-the-know should have learned something from the Philips (Velo) nightmare with the Intel Minature Card. Maybe, it is "Pride, I can do it better attitude", "penny-wise-pound-foolish", or just bad marketing/sales by a whole lot of people. The tech press should share in the blame! Why did Dragon Systems pass up on Compact Flash? Who knows? One thing is for sure, We can't blame you!
