good to hear from you again. that's great about your friend helping you with the added hard drive and extra mem. aren't friends wonderful?

i don't know how much help i can be with your printer (or with anything for that matter... i'm here to learn too!). i don't own that brand. i have a couple canon multi-passes.

at least tell us, was it working and quit, or has it never worked with win98? you could remove the existing printer icon from the start|settings|printer dialog and then try adding a new one to let win98 recognize the hardware. have you done that?

have you checked the manufacturer's manual for troubleshooting what it's doing?

these are just a couple suggestions until someone shows up with some real answers.
