David Re..<<<Re quote not refreshing on Qcharts. Qcharts has been so screwed up this whole week, its a miracle if you could have figured out if the market was even open from the quality they produced this week. Anyone got an alternative? >>>>>>

David I am thinking of going into daytrading as I will be retiring from ny regular job. I am Wondering about the best daytrading programs or subscriptions out there. Any recommendations. Did you find anything better than Qcharts. This is for everyone.

David,

Most people seem to be happy with Qcharts from what I have heard. That suggests to me that they may fix whatever problem they are having, and that will probably happen just about the time you leave. But that of course that is your choice. You might want to look at myTrack as an alternative data provider. I've been using it for many months, and except for a period about a month ago where intraday charts were not working, they have been pretty reliable.

You can download the software for free to get a look at the basic product. A $20 monthly fee will get you real time capability, and a good feel for what it can do.
