NB, I got the extension too, but I have not moved any assets out the account (yet). I am considering opening an account with CyBerCorp. The extension will make it much easier to pick my time frame. There is no way I can justify $30-$35 trade costs from MSDW. All I want is a reliable site with decent execution. Their site is often down or slow. Their execution times are just plain lousy at times. Hey I wouldn't mind paying the higher rates if they would just guarantee that an order would be PLACED in 30 seconds or less. As it is now there is a 5 minute window which is not widely known. I have no need for their research. Overall my portfolio was up 238% last year and am up 40% this year so far. I have never been in one of their offices. Yes it has been nice to have access to their IPO's but I have been getting only the poorer quality ones in the last six months. Never the ones that are 3 or 4 baggers out of the gate and never look back. The 25 shares of UPS was a bad joke. I feel sorry for the people that went after HomeGrocer. Jim

I got extended too. What a joke. They are just now getting around to noticing that the people who are making the most trades are taking off? I moved 1/2 my IRA to Ameritrade. I only hold mutual funds a some long term fuel cell stocks in MSDW. Lombard was the greatest. Discover wasn't bad. MSDW is flailing. Good luck. Dick BTW, 5 weeks ago they screwed up a split on me. After 4 phone calls to 4 different people they still don't have it right. Unbelievable.
