Dan, my first post yesterday was about the web page that was calling Salvation by faith "easy believism" That always makes my blood boil when I see teachers or church pastors tell people that. It is false and is used by the church as a tool called "guilt" to cause members to doubt their salvation when they are told that they must have "works" to receive or maintain their salvation. It was not directed at your beliefs. I wanted your opinion about this type of doctrine.
Has anyone ever made you feel that your salvation was in doubt because you were not doing enough for God? I have. This is religion in its most devilish form.
Once you become a Christian you can do anything out of love as long as you don't do it out of fear or guilt.
Salvation is a gift of God. There are no rules. Just a decision.
