twister- Don't take this the wrong way but, I'm beginning to get the impression that Scott McNealy is a *LOT* smarter than you are. --- You have a point about being tolerant toward the 'compliant' twister. But you know, historically, it's the 'bleating' 'opinionated' twister that's really brought home the bacon for us here. Thanks in advance for getting us through $100 next week. :) -JCJ

Twit,

You've been saying Sun's stock has been to high for just about three years now... Saying just about the same thing all along...

EVENTUALLY you will be RIGHT and Sun will falter..

However!!! You can't do it every two weeks and then take credit for when it does happen...

Wrong Twit... Wrong.. Up till now you've been three years worth wrong...

900% Wrong...

Cheers,

Roger

This has been a public service announcement for those new to the thread... ;-)

Twister, I think it was my buy at $88 to which you refer. Let me state for the record that I'd be comfortable to buy at today's level, but have no need to build up my Sun position because it already accounts for most of my net worth. I might also note that most of the SUNW I now hold was bought at the $1-$10 level, even as you and others then yammered on about how overpriced it was. If it'll make you feel better, I'll buy some more tomorrow; just let me know.

I, like many others, invest on fundamentals but still try to pick the most advantageous entry and exit points. That doesn't make us "momentum investors" or "technicians."

At the close today my portfolio is down about 6% from its peak, and this is options week, which is often volatile. I'm not ready to conclude the sky is falling.

Competition is nothing new to Sun, and they've handled it well.

JMHO.
