I also use and really like Wall street access.
They specialize in options, are knowledgable, professional, provide great executions and I have never had a problem with being placed on hold. These have been my experiences.

Hi Jimbo.

I have an account at Etrade and DLJdirect. I have had it with the Etrade account and am in the process of moving it to Dreyfus. I am going to try Dreyfus because they have lower commission rates on options, and also let you trade naked options online. I will let you know what they are like once I have had a chance to evaluate them.

I really like DLJdirect. The only problem with them is that you can't trade naked options online. You have to call and talk to a broker. They also only let high net worth individuals trade naked options of any kind. They usually do have good executions, however. Thursday I tried to sell some naked puts with a bid ask of 19 5/8 - 21 1/8. I put in a limit of 19 5/8 and the trade executed at 20 3/4.

At the present time, I have been on hold trying to talk to someone from Etrade for over 20 minutes (and it's Sunday!). I am just trying to find out the status of the transfer. This is one of the main reasons that I am transferring to another brokerage. The other is the number of times that the site is down during trading hours.

OT - If you get a chance to go to Falcon's Fire I would encourage you to try it. It was a lot more $, but was a gorgeous course. Half of the holes looked like you were looking at a post card they were so nice. Florida residents get a lower rate than us out-of-staters so it would be a lot less for you to try it. I may be back in May or June. If I do, I will let you know. If you are free, we can try a round or two!
