Tellabs announced today the VERITY 3000 system, a high-density digital echo canceller and voice-quality enhancement solution that enables service providers to reduce the amount of equipment needed while providing unparalleled call quality. The VERITY 3000 system provides echo cancellation and voice enhancement processing of 48 E1 facilities in a 19-inch shelf. The VERITY 3000 system enables service providers to conserve floor space and simplify system cabling through fewer external connections to power systems and alarm-reporting interfaces. This reduces footprint and installation time, two important areas of concern in today?s service provider infrastructure.
