Hi Kent,

My first reaction is that Terabeam is complimentary to JDSU. If it works as well and as cheaply as described, substantial demand for their "last mile" solution will ensue. (it apparently is designed to work for up to three kilometers, or approximately 2 miles).

We could see additional fiber rings going in to dense population areas to support the sale of the Terabeam "last 3 kilometer" connection. Hence the JDSU opportunity.

I will be hanging on to my JDSU, and I will be taking a hard look at adding Terabeam. My thought is that together they form a more complete solution than either does separately.

Best regards,

Brian
