Lynn, It has always been the case that Veritas is mentioned as the darling stock with reference to Seagate holdings while SanDisk, Gadzoox (not the clothier!), Dragon Systems and the other holdings are just footnotes or afterthoughts.

Lynn- Funny you should mention this. Though not exactly, but very similar to what MRVC did. They actually shut down the only division that made money for them for years and years. Just closed it down and focused on the incubators. Didn't even bother trying to sell it because the valuation of their incubator investments overwhelmed the core business. Here's a chart: siliconinvestor.com Wall Street, and myself, started putting the pieces together of what they were doing about January.
